Hello:
My name is André Sévigny and my wife Aline Cantin, I am here today to give you a personal evaluation report on the trip of Mr. Maurice Carbonneau’s group from Canada. In general, my wife and I are very satisfied with the travel project “Vietnam authentic in 22 days and 21 nights”. Your planning was good, the restaurants, hotels, transportation and cultural visits were all of very good quality. In the area of Hanoi, Sapa, Ninh Binh, and Halong Bay, Loïc (our guide) was a great help, he knew everything about the history of Vietnam, knew everything about everything we asked him. He was great and very dedicated to the whole group. The area of Hue, Da Nang and Hoi An were also very well explained by our young guide. Going south to the Saigon area, accompanied by Fueng who was also very good in her descriptions and comments, we learned a lot of interesting things, however, there were some small occasions that were less interesting. Let us underline the region of Chau Doc, where we made a lot of roads to arrive to see little. We would have preferred to spend the day in Saigon, for example, visiting a museum or something. We really enjoyed visiting the Cu Chi tunnels, lots of interesting history. One suggestion, you should include in your trip price, all tips, restaurants, drivers, guides, bell boys etc…as this was a dilemma between some of the group on several occasions. A second suggestion, you should allow your guide to eating with the group. At every meal during the trip, lunch and dinner, there was always an abundance of food and each time there was too much, the guide could have eaten with us without any problem. In this way, he could have been helpful in explaining some of the dishes in question during the meals. As for the trip down the Mekong in Laos, it was wonderful, quiet and very relaxing. Our guide there was excellent until Luang Prabang.
