On the morning of September 24, 2022, the second final of the competition for young French-speaking tour guides “Love to Guide” was held in the Vu Dinh Lien Hall of Hanoi National University.
The competition is organized by the French-speaking tourism club – La Route des Découvertes – with the aim of creating an environment for exchange, learning and improving knowledge and level of French. This enables students who are enthusiastic about the profession to be more self-confident in the future.

Almost a month after its launch, the competition attracted great attention and the active participation of numerous students from Hanoi’s French-speaking universities. We received registrations from 17 candidates from universities in Hanoi. The jury selected 5 outstanding groups of candidates for the final round.
Following the success of the first season of “Love to Lead” (in June 2021), the French-speaking tourism club – La Route des Découvertes – coordinated with the French faculty and partner institutions to organize the second season, maintaining the original objectives and renewing the theme and format of the competition.
The presentation of a group in the final
In the final, the jury and audience experienced the competition and eloquence of the candidates’ French-language presentations about Vietnam’s travel destinations. In addition, the jury also presented hypothetical situations to evaluate the candidates’ ability to deal with the situations that arise during a trip.
