Another Kindergarten Built in Yen Bai by the Humanitarian Fund

On April 20, 2023, the humanitarian group “The Rice Field School” and the Horizon Vietnam Humanitarian Fund mobilized to complete and put into operation the Hoa Mi kindergarten project (Mu Cao village, Ban Mu commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province). This helped encourage, share and support many mountain children to benefit from better conditions for learning and growing.
In Tram Tau district, a number of kindergartens have deteriorated and lack conditions for good learning: degraded structures, lack of public facilities and closed sanitary services for teachers and students. In particular, the socio-economic conditions of Ban Mu commune are still difficult. The distance and road conditions between schools are very challenging. Many roads separated by deep and rapid streams are not yet paved. As a result, the management and improvement of education quality still encounter many difficulties.

The reconstruction of Hoa Mi kindergarten helps eliminate the difficulties of students in the commune. We are very happy to see pictures of teachers and students under the roof of this new spacious school.

The reconstruction includes: 2 standard classrooms for kindergarten students, 1 public facility room, 1 toilet, fencing, play area and other installations (ceiling fan, rest bed, toilet, etc.)
