Humanitarian Journey 2020 – House Construction Project

For just over a year now, Horizon Vietnam Travel has been committed to a new humanitarian project. Its aim is to build houses in remote and very poor villages.

Over the previous months we have already helped build 10 houses, such as for the family of Mr. Chao A Tu.

Despite the difficult period related to the Covid 19 crisis, we do our best to continue the humanitarian projects that we care about.

This Saturday, May 30, 2020, a small delegation from Horizon Vietnam Travel travels to the villages of Khe Kẹn and Đồng Hẻo to launch the construction of 4 houses.

These two villages are close by and are located in the Yen Bai province, Van Chan District

Here live Mong and White Thai ethnic groups, they live mainly from rice cultivation, raising chickens, pigs, buffalo…

For these projects, we collaborate with our friends and partners «Nouvelles terres» and «the Buddhist school of Vietnam» who participate financially in the project. We thank them for their commitment!

We depart from Hanoi at 6 in the morning for about 4 hours on the road, it’s a bit long but the road is very beautiful with the rice fields in bloom!

We go to the first village of Khe Ken to sign contracts and exchange with the residents. It is a great moment of joy, discovery and exchange!

We learned about this village through a friend of Bau, a local teacher of the village, who wishes to help improve the conditions of the residents.

Here is the family of Ho Ha Ho, whom we will help, they are farmers and live in a very uncomfortable house

In fact, we realize that for a relatively accessible sum, we can truly change the lives of human beings, what happiness!

Since all residents help in the construction, the price of a house is low, you should count approximately 1000 euros for a house.

On this beautiful day of May 30, 2020, we launched the construction project for four new houses.

These four new projects are funded with the help of our partners « Nouvelles terres » and the Buddhist school of Vietnam, we thank them again for their help!

So there will be 14 houses built with Horizon Vietnam Travel, and thanks to you who have traveled with us. By giving us the opportunity to realize these beautiful humanitarian projects. We wish to help as many people in need as possible and continue these beautiful humanitarian actions!
