On March 11, the Horizon Vietnam team in collaboration with humanitarian associations such as Tu Tam, Hoa Sen, the Vietnamese Red Cross Society, and many other humanitarian organizations, traveled over 300 km to Vi Xuyen commune, Ha Giang to attend the inauguration ceremony of the concrete bridge of the Thac Tau people.

The Thac Tau people’s bridge is designed with a length of 30 m, a width of 3.5 m, 1 span. The bridge has a total value of about 2 billion VND equivalent to 81,000 euros, of which humanitarian organizations invited donors to support more than one billion VND, the rest being made up of contributions from residents and part of the materials.
Previously, residents contributed their own money and efforts to build a bridge over the stream in the center of the commune towards the kindergarten and some villages. However, the old bridge was not wide enough for car passage and the deck was low relative to the water level during the rainy season. To ensure safety and facilitate the movement and trade of goods, donors agreed to contribute financially to the construction of a new bridge, about 10 meters from the old bridge.
The new bridge was built higher than the road surface and above the flood level of recent years, the tonnage that will cross the bridge will reach about 15 tons.

For Horizon Vietnam Travel, the Thac Tau bridge connects not only village to village, but is also a bridge of happiness and love.
HORIZON VIETNAM is honored to contribute a small part to the construction of this bridge.
At HORIZON VIETNAM TRAVEL, a large part of our agency’s profit is dedicated to humanitarian activities. The Horizon Vietnam team wishes to express our deep gratitude to you, our dear travelers, for choosing us and for helping us carry out our humanitarian activities.
