Offering Tet Gifts on the Occasion of Lunar New Year 2023

This morning (January 20, 2023), on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2023, the Humanitarian Fund of HORIZON VIETNAM cooperated with humanitarian associations in Hanoi such as Hoa Sen (Lotus) and Stive Bui. Mr. TA DUY BAU, Founder of HORIZON VIETNAM and President of the Humanitarian Fund of HORIZON VIETNAM, as well as the leaders of the associations, made a visit to offer Tet gifts 2023 to disadvantaged people at Ha Dong General Hospital, Hanoi; at Quang Phuc Pagoda, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi, and at the Bach Mai dialysis village.

We started the day by visiting patients at Ha Dong General Hospital, Hanoi. During the traditional Tet celebration, everyone wants to return to reunite with their families to celebrate Tet. However, many people have to spend Tet in the hospital due to serious illness. With the intention of sharing the difficulties of patients who must stay in the hospital during Tet, we offered 100 gifts to patients and their families at the hospital.

Ha Dong General Hospital, Hanoi

Subsequently, we moved to Quang Phuc Pagoda. At the pagoda, 40 gifts were donated to 40 orphans. Monk THICH DAM THANH founded an orphanage on the campus of over 5 hectares of Quang Phuc Pagoda. Horizon Vietnam Travel hopes that everyone and associations will learn about it and take care of charitable work to help children develop well. Horizon Vietnam Travel wishes to thank the benefactors who have helped us carry out this beautiful humanitarian activity.

Finally, our group stopped at the “Bach Mai dialysis village.” The “Bach Mai dialysis village” is a place where disadvantaged patients stay near Bach Mai Hospital, Hanoi. These are people who must leave their hometown to come to the city to earn a living while receiving treatment at the hospital, mainly dialysis patients. Over 120 gifts were delivered to patients. We hope that these gifts can offer them a warmer and more fulfilling Tet.
