Vinh Lân Bridge Inauguration Ceremony, Cần Thơ 08/04/2024

On August 4, Horizon Vietnam Travel, in collaboration with several partners, participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Vinh Lân Bridge in the commune of Vinh Trinh, Vinh Thanh District, Cần Thơ. This significant event, organized by the Commune People’s Committee, brought together local leaders, a delegation of deputies from the city of Cần Thơ, representatives of the Next-G charitable foundation, as well as sponsors and numerous residents of the region.

The construction of the Vinh Lân Bridge represents crucial progress in improving the transportation infrastructure of Vinh Trinh Commune. This bridge, 43.2 meters long, 4 meters wide and with a load capacity of 8 tons, was built at a total cost of 3 billion 450 million VND.

This project was realized thanks to the contribution of many businesses and partner groups.

The project was realized thanks to the contribution of Horizon Vietnam Travel, the Next-G charitable foundation, as well as numerous businesses and partner groups such as EMI investment company, An Phu Pearls and Jewelry company, NSK company, Tu Tam charity group, Hoa Sen volunteer group, Nghin Le Mot Đem group, Ngân Ha fashion company, Findirect audit company, … who played a fundamental role and provided significant contribution to the realization of this project.

Vinh Lân, a small commune located in the Vinh Trinh region, Vinh Thanh District, has faced numerous difficulties for many years. One of the main ones concerns insufficient transportation infrastructure, which greatly complicates the daily life of the residents. Damaged roads and limited communication routes not only hindered the mobility of residents, but also hampered local economic activities. Families encounter difficulties in accessing basic services such as schools, markets and health centers, especially during the rainy season, when road conditions worsen further.

In particular, the lack of reliable and safe bridges has been a significant obstacle. The residents of Vinh Lân have long had to rely on improvised and dangerous means of crossing to traverse rivers and canals that cross their region. These dangerous passages endanger the lives of residents, particularly children who must go to school. Furthermore, the absence of solid and safe bridges has limited commercial exchanges, making it difficult to transport agricultural products and goods, with a direct impact on the local economy and the livelihoods of families.

The construction of the Vinh Lân Bridge is therefore perceived as a breath of fresh air for this community. With a length of 43.2 meters and a load capacity of 8 tons, this bridge represents significant progress towards improving transportation infrastructure in the region. By facilitating movement and commercial exchanges, this bridge not only improves the quality of life of Vĩnh Lân residents, but also stimulates local economic development.

We distributed gifts to families benefiting from local social policies.

On this occasion, Horizon Vietnam Travel and its partners offered 100 gifts to poor and disadvantaged families in Vĩnh Trinh Commune, as well as 2,000 notebooks to support students before the start of the new school year.
