Quang Binh is a province of Vietnam located about 490km south of Hanoi. Measuring about 8,037km2 and inhabited by more than 800,000 people, this large region has Dong Hoi as its provincial capital. Quang Binh is a place with very diverse landscapes, ranging from mountains to plains, from dense forests to islands, bordered by the sea and crossed by rivers. It is a beautiful area to visit. + National Park Phong Nha – Ke Bang
The most touristic destination of the province is the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park located in the Bo Trach and Minh Hoa districts. This protected area is located in the limestone area of Truong Son. The national park is home to karst rocks and large caves. In 2003 it was declared a Natural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO and since then the number of people visiting it is increasing. The Phong Nha and Tien caves are the most impressive of the park. It is also proposed to the tourists to make an ecological and historical tour of the park by passing by the botanical garden, the cave of the 8 volunteers and the waterfall of Nuoc Mooc. You can also see relics such as the Xuan Son ferry and the old Khe Gat airport. The park is also a perfect place for hiking in the heart of nature.
+Bang Hot Spring
Bang hot spring is also an attraction of the region. It is located in Le Thuy, 60km south of Dong Hoi. It is said to be the only hot spring in the country to be at a constant temperature of 105 degrees. It is recognized nationally and internationally for its benefits.
Another place to visit during your stay is the deserted islands of Chim and Gio which are home to many species of birds.
The province is also home to many traditional villages where you can admire and buy traditional handicrafts.
