I will post on the backpacker forum my positive impressions of your country and your services, which were as good as promised.

We have to understand their reaction because back in France, they were going to use the programme from the start to find our photos and write about our trip. I think that the arrangements were a small inconvenience that could easily be overcome.

The evaluation of the tour was very positive. The only remark to make is that some places are too crowded with tourists.

2, The hotels were perfectly correct and correspond to the price range we wanted to pay. The only drawback is that in HOI AN the hotel did not have a lift and the stairs with our suitcases were not easy.

3, Following our program :

The guide at SAPA was charming and took care of us very well. He took care of changing our room when we could have been satisfied with the one we had.

In Hanoi, we had good contact. He may lack a little experience to be contracted with tourists but with experience, it will come.

In Hoi An the guide was unpleasant. He could not manage the time needed for the different activities. Either we were in a hurry or we were waiting. In addition, he often made remarks about the French occupation. We were on holiday and we are not responsible for the past. I found this frequent reminder unpleasant.

For the Mekong, we had a very, very nice person. She gave us a lot of explanations and was full of concern. We will keep a very good memory of Ahn (excuse the spelling)

4, Concerning the transport at the beginning on sapa, Hanoi and Hoi An, we had old vehicles with deficient air-conditioning. For the Mekong, the bus was very good without any reproach. It is necessary to specify that in spite of difficulties with languages all the drivers were pleasant.
