Aurore MORANCAIS

Hello to The Whole Horizon Team

First of all, Jean and I wanted to thank you for the organization of our holidays, for the quality of the services, and for the competence and kindness of the guides and drivers.

On these days spent in Vietnam and Cambodia, we also wanted to give you a look back on what we found as “pluses” and also give you some comments.

In general, we appreciated that the perfectly French-speaking guides, brought us to places far from mass tourism, off the beaten track where we felt good through various activities such as cycling, canoeing, walking, and boating,.. This has been really a highlight of your circuit.

North Vietnam

– We particularly appreciated the Pu Luong reserve with its preserved and very natural side. The accommodation is really very good and the low attendance of the place at the time we were there reinforces the change of scenery. We liked being in this large dormitory on stilts but it might not please everyone. Perhaps you could offer your guests the option of the individual bungalow.

– The hike made through the rice fields to go to the waterfall represents a circuit of about 15 km or with the stopping times, about 5 hours of walking. This did not cause us a problem but perhaps you could specify rather 5 hours than 3 hours to make the circuit. Some people might have difficulty getting to the waterfall.

– Halong Bay on land, the Anna Tham hotel view is the one we enjoyed the least. Tired of the road we made the choice to eat at the hotel and we found that the quality of the meals was not in line with the prices displayed. The room was good.

South Vietnam

We enjoyed the visits to the Mekong Delta, the guide was able to adapt the program to the weather. What beautiful discoveries …

Cambodia

– The ruins of Angkor are truly spectacular. Our guide also knew how to adapt the days and organize so that we could visit the most beautiful temples at the times when there was the least crowd. This is a real plus.

– The last day allowed us to discover this amazing flooded village, a real change of scenery, and another curiosity of Cambodia.

We had a very, very good holiday and in general, your choices of restaurants, hotels and the people who accompanied us contributed to this success. We will not fail to talk about you around us.

Thank you for making this trip so enjoyable

Kind regards

Aurore and Jean
