Hello to the whole Horizon Vietnam team,
Our return to Belgium went well… But very quickly, nostalgia for your beautiful country set in.
First of all, THANK YOU for making our project an unforgettable trip. Without the slightest worries, stress, worry.
What beautiful encounters, smiles, and looks with simply authentic people. Memories full of heads, emotions full of heart.
This trip was really important to us for our two families. We wanted to share it together with the 8 of us (4 adults and 4 teenagers). It was a wonderful trip for us who were going to Asia for the first time. The journey was rich in colours and encounters. A total change of scenery.
We would like to send you our congratulations on the organization of our trip to Vietnam from north to south from 01/07/2017 to 20/07/2017. The follow-up of our file, the responsiveness as to our expectations and requests, our questions, the choice of hotels … You listened to us, from the conception of our project until our return.
Thank you also to all your team for the organization of the program of our stay which was a very varied alternating visit to large cities, temples, villages in the mountains to meet different ethnic groups, floating market, cruise on Ha Long Bay, night on board the train, bike rides, visit local craftsmen, a night at the inhabitant, planting and harvesting rice, use of means of locomotion of all kinds (tuk-tuk, sampan, motorcycle,…).
Our favourite is undoubtedly the days spent in the North in the Sapa region, grandiose landscapes, shades of colours galore, and the authenticity of the people. Ha Long Bay on land was also a very nice discovery.
Special thanks to our guides Hiep, Diep and Madeleine. Endearing and considerate people with whom we shared unique moments, evoked the wounds of history, addressed living conditions, and learned about history, customs and traditions that have forged their identity.
A special mention to our Hiep guide with whom we shared more than 10 days. He showed great professionalism, always listening, attentive … We also want to thank our drivers, who are always punctual and careful. We would like to thank especially Si a discreet person smiling and caring. Very good duet with Diep.
What else can I say? Maybe spend two nights in Ha Long Bay in order to soak up a little more of this beautiful place.
We will keep wonderful memories of your country, its culture, and its gastronomy as well as for the kindness and the always smiling welcome received by the people.
Private means of transport have always been punctual.
Changes that may be made:
– In terms of food that is very different from our habits, we ask ourselves the following question: for extended stays, we think it would be a good idea that we can choose ourselves a part of our menu for some meals included in the package (sometimes a little repetitive and too filling).
– From the point of view of journeys and links, it would perhaps be indicative to mention in the programme the estimate in time and kilometres.
We will carefully keep the contact details of your agency for who knows a future trip can be to Laos and Burma…
