Here is as promised a small summary of our impressions regarding our trip to Vietnam.

First of all, I would like to thank the organizers of our trip who took into account our desires, that is to say, both to make our trip a cultural stay with the visit of the main centres of interest, interspersed with hikes in the northern mountains and some bike rides, according to our wishes.

We were welcomed by the local people smiling and always ready to make us discover their way of living, cooking, and other beautiful experiences.

Except in Halong Bay where the sun was somewhat shy, we had superb weather, sometimes even too hot…

When we arrived in Hanoi, the Horizon Vietnam Travel agency was closed for a week for the Tet Festival. The guide greeted us at the airport and showed us around the city before leaving for other discoveries, but on our return to Hanoi, we were finally able to meet the people who had taken care of the organization of our trip, and leave with gifts full of arms…

We stayed 30 days in Vietnam we visited from north to south with at each stage the meeting a different guide and driver. All of them are very professional, do their utmost to satisfy us, to respect the program with punctuality and caution. We felt fully confident in their presence. Your agency gave us a phone in case we needed to contact you… we have never used it but nevertheless appreciated this reassuring gesture.

This was our first but certainly not our last trip with your agency, we also plan to visit Cambodia and why not Laos and are sure that there is still a lot to discover in Vietnam after doing this first tour.

The icing on the cake, as my husband was celebrating his 70th birthday and we were staying with the locals in a very small village lost in the mountains, what was not our surprise after the meal to see a huge cake with fireworks arrive… attention we didn’t expect at all… a feat of our guide to whom we are really very grateful. It will be an unforgettable memory again…

The choice of hotels was perfect, close to the centres of interest with the possibility of discovering alone the towns and villages as we also like to do at our own pace after the visits.

We will not fail to recommend your agency to anyone wishing to visit Vietnam, we already praise it to people who ask how our trip went.
